My inlaws keep telling me that all the daughter in laws does all this, and I should be happily doing all this, to which I am really unsure what is happening to me :( Let me know, where I go wrong because I do not have other family members (my parents) whom I can share my feelings, and can guide me. My husband mentions as he is providing me with house to live (so I do not have to pay any rent). In the expenses that I incur there are no contribution given to me by my husband, as his earnings goes to his parents. My mil helps me in cooking dinner, she overlooks maids as they do their chores.
Apart from this, electricity bill and the personal expenses of inlaws are taken care by themselves. She then keeps nagging me on the grocery items which gets over earlier. If he and her wives fights, he comes to eat with us along with his children. Apart from all these, I get groceries considering 8 members (members of my house), but my second bil who lives near by keeps on coming and picks up anything he fall shot in his house for e.g.: Onions, wheat flour, soap, any cooked food. I bear the following expenses for my house: Groceries, gas, vegetables, milk, children fess, their traveling allowance, maids (as I am working I have one to handle my kids and other for sweeping and utensils), children tuition fees. My second brother in law lives near by to our house, with his wife and 2 kids. Here is my story: I live in join family- Me, my husband, 3 kids, fil, mil and brother-in law. I feel I am drained, not sure if I am wrong but just wanted to share what I feel.

I'd love to chat more with anyone that is needing to increase their family's cash flow. Increasing our cash flow was crucial, especially when my husband's exterior reno business and difficulty last winter during that awful polar vortex. I've been able to replace what I used to earn in my secretarial job and now don't have to worry about day care or commuting and such. About a year ago I decided that we needed to bring in more income but going to work was not an option for us so I started an at home business. I am an avid reader though of greater financial minds than I and one thing that always stuck out to me was not just budgeting and saving but increasing your cash flow. Thankfully without the cost of daycare it does balance itself out. We had difficulty with our finances even when I DID work, yeesh. When I became a stay at home mum I knew that it would be difficult.
